Collaborate on an ongoing project
If you want to collaborate on an ongoing project, you can write to one of the following emails:

To participate in projects, the signing of a confidentiality agreement will normally be requested for the protection of the data that is worked on until published. In addition, there may be requirements specific to each project and as needed to comply with the guidelines of the corresponding Ethics Committee.
If you are an UNICAH student and want to be part of the team
If you are a student at the Catholic University of Honduras (from any faculty) and you want to be part of the team, you must follow these steps:
1) Send a letter stating your wish to start the process. In this letter you should mention the reasons why you would like to be part and what drives you to scientific research.
It is noteworthy at this stage that at GIMUNICAH we do not expect you to have previous experience or deep knowledge of medicine, science, or technical aspects. At GIMUNICAH we intend to be able to collaborate as much as possible in training and growth in these areas. This motivational letter aims to know a little more about your story. The letter should be sent to the following contact:

2) Once the letter is received, you will be notified. Subsequently, the applicant will receive dates to coordinate an interview by videoconference to the email address provided. A Zoom link will be prepared by GIMUNICAH.

3) The applicant will meet with members of the team, who will ask general questions to learn more information. Again, it is emphasized that the questions in this interview are not aimed at evaluating medical knowledge or scientific or methodological theory.

4) Within 7 days after the interview, the applicant's decision of acceptance or not will be communicated by email.
5) If there is a positive response, a course in research ethics will be carried out.
6) Once this course has been approved, a Confidentiality Agreement document will be delivered, with the objective to protect the ideas and data discussed until publication. The applicant will be given as much time as needed to read it and ask any questions.

7) If the applicant agrees with the terms, then the signature will proceed, making the process official.
